Sharon B. Jaffe, M.D.
is Board Certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Obstetrics
and Gynecology.
Dr. Jaffe graduated from
Johns Hopkins University. After completing her medical and post-graduate
education in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Albert Einstein College
of Medicine, she served a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology
and Infertility at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia
University in New York, where she remained as medical director for
the In Vitro Fertilization Program.
Since 1991 Dr. Jaffe
has directed the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility
at the Orlando Regional Healthcare System OB/GYN Residency program
and remains Courtesy Clinical Associate Professor at the University
of Florida. In addition to her interest in physician education,
Dr. Jaffe strongly believes in patient education, a talent she has
displayed as host of a nationwide television show discussing various
womenís issues, especially relating to infertility and in vitro
fertilization.
Dr. Jaffe has authored
numerous scientific research articles and publications in Reproductive
Endocrinology and Infertility. In the state of Florida, she is the
first female who became Board Certified in both Obstetrics/Gynecology
and Reproductive Endocrinology.
