Between 25% and 50% of the overall cost of fertility therapy is associated with costly medications. These medications are difficult to administer and require a great deal of patient education and support.These requirements result in a tremendous burden on providers and on patients alike. Recognizing the opportunity to provide a valuable service to both patients and providers, the Company launched IntegraMed Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (IPSI) in June, 1999. In partnership with ivpcare, inc. an experienced pharmaceutical distribution company, the Company was able to offer a service that has proven to be even more valuable than anticipated.

With the formation of the new company, IntegraMed deepens its infertility disease management and patient service offerings. By partnering with ivpcare, the Company gains access to innovative, proven programs such as CycleTrack TM, Education Matters TM and CycleKit TM. CycleTrack allows the company to limit drug distribution to only the amount of product required by each individual patient thereby minimizing cost to third party payors and to patients. Education Matters is a comprehensive patient education program, which includes videos and written materials devoted to educating patients on the proper handling and administration of complex fertility pharmaceutical products. CycleKit is a proprietary packaging service specifically designed for safe and efficient mail order distribution.
